May Thursday Evening Ladder League

This is a league for all Fort Collins Pickleball Club members with at least a knowledge of game rules and ability to hit the ball over the net.

It is a ladder league, which means that you will be playing with players of a similar ability (at least after a couple of weeks of settling in).  If you get better, you will move up to a better court.  If you have a bad week, you may move down a bit!  This league will use your DUPR rating to seed starting courts. 

You will play a game to 11 (win by 1) with each person on your starting court (3 games total). The person with the most points will move up a court and the person with the fewest points will move down a court.  There will be 2 rounds of 3 games each night.

We will have roll call at 5:30, followed by court assignments and the start of play, so if you want some time to warm up, please show up before that time.

Each league session is 4 weeks.  You are signing up for all 4 weeks! 

If you will be unable to attend one of the sessions, please find a sub for yourself (the waitlist on the Club website at https://focopb.club/League-Waitlists is a good place to look for eligible subs).

If you want to sign up as a league helper for the month, please email Scott Putnam at sputnam@focopb.club.  We need help both organizing the session and recording scores in DUPR. Note that 4 of the 48 spots will be reserved for volunteers.

Finally, if you have already registered for a ladder league this month, please wait at least two days after another ladder league is opened before registering for it. This will give everyone a chance to register for at least one league each month.
